Garnier Eye Roller Revisited | Bringing Back Old Favorites!

Garnier Skin Active Clearly Brighter Anti Dark Circle Roller and Clearly Brighter Anti Puff Roller.

Who remembers when the Garnier Skin Active line came out?  Or let me say, who could forget?  It was in everyone’s beauty routine, and everyone absolutely had to use the tinted roller ball before every concealer application.  Then before we knew it, it slowly disappeared! Well, I am bringing it back because I love them!

First off, let me talk about the coverage of the Anti-Dark Circle Roller Ball, it’s great! Sometimes, it’s the only thing I use.  I absolutely love using this before my concealer because it softens the eye area, brightens and covers!  I love the fact that I am treating at the same time as concealing.

Moving on to the Anti-Puff Roller.  It does exactly what the name states.  It really helps with my puffiness in the morning.  The roller is very cooling and just the act of using it is very calming.  After application it leaves a slight sheen and a non greasy moisturization to the under eyes, perfect for makeup application.

These products are reasonably priced at $13.99 a piece and if your lucky, you can catch a sale for by one get one half off. They also have one for wrinkles as well! Seriously, you need these in your life!

I hope you enjoyed this step back in time!  Leave me a comment if you liked this post and let me know what makeup or skin care product you would like to see come back!

My Everyday Eye Look | Easy and Beautiful!

Sometimes I just don’t want to put a lot of effort into my makeup routine.  I want something that is going to be quick, easy and as few steps as possible.  So, I came up with this:

I absolutely love this look, it only uses one eyeshadow, a bronzer and a highlight.  How easy is that?  Talk about multipurpose!  Here is how I achieved this look.

First, I primed my eyes with Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

Secondly, I added a transition shade in the crease, this is where your bronzer comes in.  It looks so natural in the crease and blends perfectly.  I received both of these items in my Ipsy bag and I have been loving both of them!

Ciate London Powder Bronzer in Bamboo, Vasanti Contour Eyeshadow Brush #4

Thirdly, I added an eyeshadow to my lid.  I cannot express to you how beautiful this color is!  It is so shimmery on the lid but not all glittery.  After applying, I blended it with a fluffy crease brush.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Magnetic Rose/Brilliant 14

Lastly, I finished off the look with a subtle highlight on the brow bone.  It is slightly golden with a peachy undertone.  Perfect for a very natural appearance.

YSL Touche Eclat Lumiere Divine,  Illuminating Highlight Finishing Powder

To finish off the look, I did a simple winged liner using Wet and Wild h20 liquid liner in black and coat of Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara in black.

That’s it! So simple and so beautiful!  I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you soon!

Caramelized Banana Walnut Morning Oatmeal | Gluten Free and Dairy Free

Who doesn’t love a warm bowl of oatmeal and a hot cup of coffee in the morning?  Oatmeal is one of my go to breakfasts because it is filling and nutritious.  I decided to change my routine up a bit and go with something a little more decadent.  All though this looks totally bad for you, it is actually made with healthy ingredients!  Here is how I made it:

First, have all of your ingredients prepped and ready because trust me, this process goes REALLY FAST!  Go ahead and have your oatmeal prepared and ready to be topped.

What you need:

~1/2 of a sliced banana

~cinnamon and coconut sugar

~coconut oil ( I used refined coconut oil)

~About a tablespoon of raw walnuts

~pinch of salt

~1/2 Cup of Oats

~Water ( I just fill right above the oats)

Have your bowl of oatmeal ready.  I used Quaker Oats and made them in the microwave with water.

Start out by adding about a teaspoon of coconut oil to the pan.  Let your pan get hot, this is important because your bananas will get really soggy if you put them in too early.  Cook for about 30-45 seconds, then add a sprinkle of cinnamon, a pinch of salt and your coconut sugar last.  I like coconut sugar because it brings a “caramel like” taste to the bananas.  Once you add the coconut sugar, stir for about 5-10 seconds then take off the heat.  Add your walnuts to the mixture and stir gently.

Here is your topping when it is complete!  All you have to do now is top your oats.  You can add some almond milk and extra walnuts to the oats if you like as well.

Enjoy and God Bless- Ashley
